HTH Styria Pitch & Partner 2020

After the successful start in the previous year, the HTH Styria organised a two-day event at the end of January. Within the 2-day format the HTH Styria offers a wide variety of fascinating topics presented by international keynotes, a corporate challenge, pitching sessions, B2B meetings and much more. The HTH Styria pursues the goal of building a strong network that includes relevant players.

Yupar Myint and Klara Brandstätter were invited as keynote speakers to discuss insights into research, the status quo and practical experiences around the topic of entrepreneurship and innovation. Yupar Myint is Head of Entrepreneurship at the Maxwell Centre at Cambridge University. Her lecture was entitled: “The role of serial entrepreneurs in the incubation of new ventures: Cambridge Experience. She examined the implications of serial entrepreneurs and their relevance for the successful development of an ecosystem. In her keynote speech “Science-Based Entrepreneurship: A Scale-Up Journey”, Klara Brandstätter took up where the well-known Cambridge Phenomenon, which was more strongly highlighted by Yupar, left off, also addressing the ecosystem in Austria with best-practice examples and giving an overview of the foundation of start-ups in the research field.

The HTH Styria was developed for start-ups, researchers, investors, companies and experts from the health and biotechnology sectors. The program included an investor pitching, B2B meetings, a corporate challenge and keynotes.
